“You were not just born to center your entire existence on work and labor. You were born to heal, to grow, to be of service to yourself and community, to practice, to experiment, to create, to have space, to dream, and to connect.”
Tricia Hersey, Rest is Resistance
Student Life Wellness Zones are available for students on a drop-in basis. We offer many self-service wellness resources to help you manage stress, rest, and relax as you navigate your busy life as a student at U-M.
The Wellness Zones were developed as a concrete place with specific tools to support emotional wellness AND as a way to promote an emotionally healthy lifestyle. Emotional wellness is a proactive and positive approach to living that increases resilience to stress by promoting life balance and contentment. True psychological well-being is an ongoing, ever-changing process unique to each individual.
