Personal interests
I enjoy reading (often multiple books at once!), practicing yoga on my living room floor, painting watercolor cards for friends, exploring new parks and trails, watering and speaking encouraging words to my houseplants, and spending time with the people I care about. Introspection, learning new things, and taking creative risks are important personal values of mine and I am an ambivert who enjoys cultivating deep relationships of all kinds.
Approach to coaching
There are many moving parts that can influence our well-being, from individual choices and behaviors to our social determinants of health and public policies. Understanding the story of our well-being enables realistic and sustainable change. As a coach, I am inspired by each student’s vulnerability and courage to explore their well-being objectively while leveraging strengths, agency, and motivation to make change and choices that are meaningful to them.
