Make a plan for how you want to use alcohol and other drugs (if at all) to get more of what you want and less of what you don’t want out of the college experience.
We have a variety of campaigns and resources that can help you make less risky choices around alcohol and other drug use. These campaigns are designed with students, for students.
Use these resources to:
1. Understand…
- How substances work and how they impact your personal and community well-being.
- How to access alcohol and other drug resources.
2. Know your why…
- Know your reasons for using or not using substances and how they align with your other values, goals, and identities.
- Respect other people’s “why”.
3. Plan ahead…
- Make plans to connect with others that don’t involve substance use.
- If you choose to use, make a plan to do so in a less risky way.
Our evidence-based public health campaigns represent the work of many campus partners who share the goal of supporting students in achieving their personal and academic potential. We’re constantly learning and improving our resources to provide the most accurate, current, and relevant information.
