Personal interests

Outside of work, I take time to connect regularly with friends, family, and my community. Living just outside of Dearborn, I enjoy exploring various walking trails, visiting museums and local shops, and dining at new restaurants in the area. I am passionate about gardening and sustainable horticultural practices, constantly seeking new techniques to minimize waste and conserve resources. When I'm not tending to my garden, I enjoy immersing myself in intricate puzzles, crafting unique projects, or delving into intriguing docuseries that pique my curiosity. I also enjoy traveling, with a goal to visit Yellowstone National Park someday. Most importantly, I cherish spending time with my four cats: Mister, Tofu, Kiwi, and Kevin.

Approach to wellness

Wellness is about loving and celebrating ourselves. It is a commitment to learning and advocating for ourselves in order to be our best. Wellness does not mean perfect. It requires us to recognize our strengths, values, passions, and goals. It also requires us to challenge our mind and body and be open-minded and lean into new experiences. Wellness is also about pouring positivity into our community. Wellness is ongoing and lifelong.
